The individual must be detail and service oriented and have experience with workflow and processes, ideally within the financial services industry.

As the role is mastered, there may be opportunities to take on greater leadership within the team or have greater client interaction.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Proactively resolving client issues, concerns, and request.
  • Manage client communications, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports and documentation.
  • Conduct market research to support investment strategies.
  • Calendar management.
  • Utilization of the Microsoft Office suite to maintain records, presentations, and reports.
  • Processing new business including completing and submitting applications.
  • Assisting in the preparation of a prospect or client file prior to meetings.
  • Maintaining updated client files and database.
  • Assist Wealth Advisors in developing financial plans for clients.
  • Keeping track of client life events and changes.

To qualify for this opportunity, you should possess:

  • Business Administration Diploma or other Postsecondary degree in a relevant business discipline or equivalent experience.
  • MFDA/AMF or RR IIROC license and LLQP certification (or willing to obtain).
  • Experience in the financial services industry an asset.
  • Strong computer skills in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service orientation, with a demonstrated ability to professionally interact with clients, both on the phone and face to-face.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to ever-changing priorities/time restrictions.
