Mackie/Lowe Private Wealth Management is a leading Toronto based Private Wealth Management practice in business for 30 years. We focus on complex family and businesses planning opportunities for 225 families, entrepreneurs, professionals and business owners in Toronto and the surrounding areas.

Drawing on previous experience in the industry, you will be responsible providing administrative support, with a lens of continuous improvement to support and improve systems for servicing the growing client base. You must be a self-motivated and disciplined individual with an entrepreneurial spirit.

We support University of Toronto pension members in navigating the new universal pension structure—simplifying key decisions and integrating cross‑border tax considerations into coordinated retirement plans.

Finance Professionals

We provide confidential, independent planning for finance professionals, offering holistic analysis of compensation, pensions, equity, and career decisions—free from employer influence.

YOU WILL:

  • Accurately entering and processing Client Trades (including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, systematic plans) as directed by the Advisor in a timely manner
  • Input client information into financial planning software and update annually or as needed
  • Illustration of insurance quotes and processing insurance policy placing paperwork
  • Prepare annual tax packages to be shared with external accountants
  • Support the Advisor with the ongoing Client Servicing, engaging the Advisor when Client Portfolios require suitability reviews, KYC updates or investment recommendations
  • Maintain complete and accurate Client Files and ensuring all Client interactions are fully documented
  • Maintain account lists, track client documentation and provide suggestions for ongoing process improvement
  • Ad hoc support to Advisors and Associate as needed

EDUCATION, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in a financial service advisory firm (required)
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC), Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) or willing to obtain - Preference will be given to those with an LLQP
  • Post-Secondary Education
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, ability to multi-task
  • Superior problem solving, ability to consider the impact of various decisions and communicate them accordingly
  • Proactive leadership, willingness to communicate items that need attention to the greater team for prioritization
  • Excellent, effective communications skills – verbal and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all members of the practice
  • Advanced knowledge of technology, tools and software, specifically proficient in CRM Tools (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite of Tools
