Job Posting: Private Wealth Management Associate (Hybrid Role) 

We are seeking a highly organized and clientfocused Operational & Insurance Associate to support our established Private Wealth Management team. This hybrid role combines administrative responsibilities with licensed insurance support with the opportunity to advance to a MFDA-licensed full-service Associate.  

The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, a clientfirst mindset, and the ability to balance operational tasks with advisory duties. 

Key Responsibilities 

Administrative Support 

  • Provide daily administrative assistance to advisors and team members.  
  • Manage client documentation, scheduling, and data entry.  
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with compliance and privacy requirements.  
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentation materials.  
  • Support onboarding, file maintenance, and workflow coordination. 

 

Insurance & Planning Support 

  • Conduct client-needs assessments and contribute to financial/insurance planning.  
  • Provide licensed guidance on risk management, retirement planning, and related strategies.  
  • Support clients through insurance needs analysis, applications, and delivery.  
  • Ensure all actions comply with regulatory and organizational standards.  
  • Collaborate with Insurance Specialists and team members to deliver effective solutions. 

 

Qualifications and Requirements 

  • Valid financial planning or insurance designation is an asset (CFP®, QAFP™, or equivalent).  
  • Experience in financial planning, insurance, or advisory services is an asset.  
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.  
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.  
  • Proficiency with financial planning software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office.  
  • Ability to work independently and within a team. 

Working Conditions 

  • In-office work model located in Brandon, MB (based on business needs). 
  • Standard office hours with occasional flexibility for client appointments. 
  • Minimal travel for training or meetings.
