Senior Financial Consultant — Kingston, ON 

Full-Time | Established Advisory Practice | Equity Path 

 

As a Senior Financial Consultant, you will play a pivotal role within an established advisory practice that has served clients in Kingston, ON for nearly 30 years. This full-time role is ideal for an experienced financial advisor looking for the next level—the opportunity to transition an existing client base into a high-performing practice, deepen planning relationships, and directly influence the continued growth of a well-established, client-centric wealth management business. What You Will Do (Day-in-the-Life) 

  • Deliver comprehensive and advanced financial planning solutions using industry-leading planning tools. 
  • Lead business development efforts and execute targeted marketing and outreach strategies. 
  • Identify and pursue new highnetworth business opportunities. 
  • Build client relationships through external prospecting, referrals, and introductions from centres of influence. 
  • Conduct planning-focused meetings with prospective and existing clients to present strategies, uncover opportunities, and deepen engagement. 
  • Manage daily client interactions, respond to inquiries, execute trade instructions, and provide guidance on products, services, and planning strategies. 

 

What You Bring 

  • Minimum 5 years of financial services experience with proven success managing client relationships. 
  • CIRO licensing completed. 
  • LLQP completed or willingness to obtain. 
  • A financial planning designation (e.g., CFP®, QAFP®, PFP®) is an asset. 
  • Demonstrated ability to attract new business and build lasting client and COI relationships. 
  • Strong communication, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills suited to working with highnetworth clients.
