Empowering Canadian Families with Financial Freedom

We believe financial planning is about more than numbers—it’s about unlocking freedom, confidence, and possibility for the families we serve. We’re seeking a passionate, experienced financial planner who’s currently engaged in the profession—whether as part of a team or running their own practice—and is ready to elevate their impact in a high-performing, client-focused environment.

If you’re someone who radiates energy, inspires trust, and wants to do more for fewer clients with deeper relationships, this is your opportunity.

Why Join Us?

We’re not just another advisory practice. We’re a top ranked team at IG Private Wealth Management, a Power Corp company with over 99 years of legacy in Canada. Our team serves a select group of families, entrepreneurs, and professionals in Calgary and surrounding areas—always guided by one question:

“Are the plans we make in the best interest of the Canadian families in our care?”

Here’s what makes us different:

  • Client-Centric Capacity: We don’t spread ourselves thin. Our systems, tech, and team structure ensure every client receives exceptional attention and care.
  • Culture of Excellence: We’re organized, intentional, and fun. We take our work seriously—but not ourselves.
  • Room to Grow: You’ll have the opportunity to lead, mentor, and manage top-tier relationships as you evolve within our practice.

Who We’re Looking For

You’re already in the game. You’ve built relationships, delivered plans, and know what it feels like to want more time, more support, and more impact. Whether you are part of a larger team or running your own book, you’re ready to join a practice that values depth over volume and gives you the tools to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Saying “Hi” to the world. We are seeking a business development superstar.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen relationships with existing clients and attract new ones
  • Design and execute business development strategies
  • Gather and analyze client data to build tailored proposals
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive, customized financial plans
  • Collaborate with senior advisors to nurture long-term client relationships

Qualifications:

  • Securities licensed
  • LLQP certified (or willing to obtain)
  • CFP designation (or working toward it)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using industry-leading planning tools

 Attributes That Set You Apart:

  • Natural ability to connect, influence, and inspire
  • High integrity and self-confidence, balanced with humility and coachability
  • History of driving client success and generating referrals
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and be mentored

If you’re ready to do your best work in a practice that gives you the time, tools, and team to truly serve—let’s talk. This isn’t just a job. It’s a chance to build something meaningful.
